Survey Visit Query Form

This page is a large form allowing the database to be queried on a number of the more useful parameters. A list of all survey visits with information fitting your query will be returned.

Many of the input fields consist of lists of all the possible values of that parameter presently stored in the database. For these fields multiple selections are allowed and the query will return visits that match any of the selections. You can select from any number of the input fields, the survey visits returned will match all your selections.

Press the "Submit Query" button to execute the query or the "Reset" button to clear your selections. These buttons are repeated at the bottom of each section of the form.

Survey and Project Names

Survey visit name: Relates to the place where the survey was done. Return visits to the same place should share the same name. A case insensitive substring match is performed on your input.

Survey Visit No: Unique no. for a survey listed in the database

Project Title: Where a group of surveys have been done as part of a larger project.

Administrative County: includes former counties in existence prior to reorganisation in 1996

Unitary Authority

Grid Reference: Find all surveys within a square centred on the point selected. Eastings and Northings can be to any number of significant figures. You can specify the size of the square in kilometres (minimum = 5km).

Date: Selects all surveys performed between the specified dates (inclusive). Specifying just a start date will select all surveys after that date; just an end date will select all surveys before that date. Date format is dd/mm/yyyy.
